The Phi Deuteron 1848 Club

The 1848 Club is the Graduate Brothers of Phi Deuteron alumni membership club. The purpose of the club is to collect annual graduate brother dues. Collecting dues provides much needed funds to the graduate chapter. These funds are overseen by the Purple Legionnaire and the Board of Chapter Advisors.

An influx of monetary resources allows us to improve the events we already have (FIJI Open/Pig Dinner, Homecoming tailgate, etc.) while adding new ones. It also allow us to provide subsidies to the undergraduate chapter in the form of donations to endeavors such as philanthropy, recruitment, ritual and athletics. Funds will also help us establish the Phi Deuteron Graduate Chapter Scholarship Fund, an endeavor that the BCA has wanted to undertake for some time, as well as a Graduate philanthropy initiative.

Additionally, we have many ideas for improving the website to make it more accessible for undergraduates and graduates. However, substantial improvements come with applicable charges. Funds will allow us to create a truly interactive website from which all brothers can share the benefits.

White Star Level – Annual donation of $100

Black Diamond Level – Annual donation of $221.76 or $18.48 a month for 12 months

Founders Level – Annual donation of $1,848

All members of the 1848 club will receive special member-only benefits at the Homecoming Tailgate, Pig Dinner, quarterly happy hours, and other events.
